Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Inaugural

Clinical Ops for Novel Modalities

Managing the Operational Complexities of Cell and Gene Therapy Clinical Trials

February 8-9, 2023

In recent years, the pharmaceutical and biotech industries have seen significant advancements in the development of novel modalities, such as cell and gene therapy. However, when developing treatments within these areas, a more innovative approach to establishing both their safety and effectiveness is needed. The success of these clinical trials relies heavily on the seamless execution of a more complex supply chain, posing a significant challenge to smaller pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Any loss in efficiencies can have considerable consequences for patients and significantly impact the success of the trial. Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Inaugural Clinical Ops for Novel Modalities conference is designed to help emerging biopharma and biotech companies navigate the challenges and complexities when launching Novel Modality Clinical Trials.

Coverage will include, but is not limited to:

  • Actionable advice for establishing a logistical oversight strategy
  • Successful strategies for implementing a sample collection process with proper quality control protocols
  • Transportation and packaging considerations to ensure cells are preserved and maintain their integrity
  • Guidance for executing a real-time monitoring and tracking process
  • Data safety and data monitoring strategies
  • Key considerations when selecting manufacturing contractors and how to engage with CROs

The deadline for priority consideration is July 29, 2022.

All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
